Commelina tuberosa, Linn. Diffuse and branching, from a tuberous root: Lvs. narrow-lanceolate, 2-3 in. long: spathe-lf. cordate-ovate to lanceolate, conduplicate, more or less hairy; sheaths pubescent: fls. rich blue.
