Coreopsis cardaminefolia, Torr. & Gray. Annual: low and diffusely much branched from the base, 6-24 in. high, glabrous: numerous basal and lower cauline Lvs. petioled, pinnatifid, divisions several pairs, short, oval, elliptical, rarely linear, often again divided; upper cauline nearly sessile with narrower and fewer divisions: heads as in No. 5, but smaller, and often entirely dark: achenes broader, winged; pappus minute or none.
