Pterocarya Paliurus, Batal. Tree, to 60 ft. : branchlets pubescent while young: lfts. 7-9, oblong-ovate to oblong-lanceolate, acuminate, serrate, the midrib beneath and also the rachis pubescent, 3-6 in. long: racemes with pubescent rachis: fr. suborbicular or oval, winged all around, glabrous, 1 1/2-2 1/2 in. broad.
