Cyperorchis (Cyperus and Orchis, from the sedge-like appearance). Orchidaceae. Epiphytic orchids, thriving in the warmhouse. Very closely allied to Cymbidium, from which it differs in the narrower sepals and petals which are con- --nivent to the middle or beyond, thus preventing the full expansion of the fl., and by the straight narrow lip.—There are 3 species, natives of the Himalayas and the Khasia Hills.
