Evodia glauca, Miq. (E. Fargesii, Dode). Tree, to 50 ft.: lfts. 5-11, usually 7, on slender slightly hairy stalks, ¼-⅓ in. long, elliptic-ovate to oblong-lanceolate, long- acuminate, broadly cuneate or rounded at the base, minutely crenulate, glaucous below and glabrous except hairs along the midrib near, the base, 2½-4 in. long: infl. corymbose, 6-8 in. broad, nearly glabrous; pistil of the staminate fls. glabrous: fr. about ¼ in. long, finely pubescent. June; fr. Sept. Cent. China. CH
