Fuchsia splendens, Zucc. Fig. 1605. Much-branched shrubby: lvs. ovate-cordate, pale green, serrate peduncles slender, axillary, solitary and single-fld., fls. drooping, rather short; fl. 1 ½ in. long, scarlet tipped pale green, the base swollen and the tube then compressed; petals shorter than calyx-lobes, ovate,greenish; stamens much exserted, the anthers yellow.
