Shrub or small tree, to 20 ft.: lvs. slender- petioled, crowded; Ifts. oblong-obovate, silky pubescent on both sides, or smooth above, acute or acutish, ⅓-¾ in. long: racemes 6-12-fld., rather short, fulvous or silky pubescent: fls. bright yellow, slightly fragrant: pod 5-7-seeded.
