Gustavia is a genus of flowering plants of Lecythidaceae family. It consists of about 41 species native to tropical South America.

Gustavia (Gustavus III, King of Sweden). Lecythidaceae. Trees and shrubs of the American tropics with large showy fls., of which G. speciosa, HBK.,is offered in S. Calif.
