Hoya bella. Hook. (H. paxtoni, Hort.). Slender, bushy, 1-2 ft. nigh, pubescent: lvs. an inch long, ovate-acute, very short-stalked, somewhat recurved: fls. ¾ in. , across, pure white, with very short and half-acute lobes, the crown-segms. boat-shaped and violet: umbels few- fid, and short-stalked. India. B.M. 4402. F.S. 4:399. J.H. III. 35:5. Gn.W. 4:793; 22. suppl. July 1.— Handsome little species; scarcely climbing.
