Jacobinia ghiesbreghtiana, Benth. & Hook. (Cyrtanthera Ghiesbreghtiana, Decne. Sericographis Ghiesbreghtiana, Nees. Justicia Ghiesbreghtiana, Lem. Aphelandra Ghiesbreghitiana, Hort.). Lvs. narrower (lance-ovate) and longer, acuminate: fls. in a terminal, very loose panicle, tubular, scarlet, appearing at the same season as those of J. penrhosiensis. Mex. F.S. 4:339. Gt. 98. 悠ntro, by Ghiesbreght; but when the plant was transferred to the genus Jacobinia the name was mispelled . Ghiesbrechtiana. A good winter bloomer.
