Livistona hoogendorpii, Hort. St. tall, cylindrical, with triangular lf. -scars: petiole rounded on the back, 3-5 ft. long, red-brown at the base, olive-green above: spines stout, recurved, 1 ½ -2 ½ in. apart, ¾ - 2 ½ in. long: If. suborbicular, 4 ½ -6 ft. diam.; segms. plicate, cuneate, pendulous at the apex and 5-7-lobed, the lobes acute. Java.
