Nenga wendlandiana, Scheff (Areca pumila, Blume). St. 10-20 ft. high, 2-3 in. diam.: lvs. 8-9 ft., pinnate nearly to the base; pinnae alternate, ensiform, acuminate, 2 ½ ft. long, ½ -1 ½ in. wide, bright green, coriaceous, 2- ribbed; petiole slender; sheath sub-ventricose, 2 ft. long.
