Oncidium longipes, Lindl. (O. janeirense, Reichb. f.). Pseudobulbs narrowly ovate, 2-lvd.: Lvs. narrow: scape several-fld., equaling the Lvs.; fls. on long pedicels; lateral sepals elongate, pendulous, united at me base; dorsal sepals shorter and wider, recurved; petals oblong, plane; all yellowish green, barred with brown; labellum yellow, spotted with brown at the base; lateral lobes small, obtuse; middle lobe transversely broadened, apiculate, the narrow part serrated. Summer. Brazil. I.H. 2:54. B.M. 5193 (called 0. longipes, is O. Croesus, Reichb. f.).—A small species.
