Salix irrorata. Colorado Willow. A dense diffuse shrub, 8-12 ft. high: branches stout, covered with a white bloom: buds large: lvs. linear-lanceolate, 3-4 in. long, 1/2 in. wide, green above, glaucous beneath, undulate serrate: aments all appearing before the lvs., sessile, very densely fld.; staminate golden yellow: caps. glabrous, nearly sessile.
