Salix ludificans, White (S. aurita x S. phylicifolia). Shrub: branchlets glabrous at maturity: stipules usually persistent: lvs. elliptic to narrowly obovate, crenulate, glabrous at maturity, glaucous beneath: catkins rather small, on leafy stalks, cylindric; ovary pubescent. N. Eu., with the parents.
