Sarcococca hookeriana is a species of evergreen shrub or groundcover, also known as "Himalayan Sweet Box". It is low-growing, usually between 12 and 24 inches high. It produces white flowers throughout winter followed by black berries. There are two varieties, of which Sarcococca hookeriana var. humilis is more commonly used in gardens.^{[citation needed]}

Shrub: lvs. oblong-lanceolate to narrow-lanceolate, acuminate, cuneate at the base, 2-3 1/2 in. long; petiole 1/4 - 1/3 in. long: styles 3: fr. subglobose, black. Himalayas, Afghanistan.
