Thermopsis lanceolata, R. Br. (Podalyria lupinoides, Willd.). Sts. 6-12 in. high: lvs. nearly sessile, the lower and uppermost ones often simple; lfts. oblong-lanceolate, silky-puberulent on both surfaces; stipules lanceolate, half as long as lfts.: fls. geminate or somewhat verticillate, bright yellow.
