Verbascum niveum, Ten. Biennial, about 2 ft. high, possibly more, white-tomentose: lvs. ovate-oblong, crenate, undulate; lowest petioled, the others sessile, acuminate, rather spoon-like, shortly half-decurrent, the wings cuneate: raceme simple and very dense: fls. yellow, rarely white, solitary, subsessile; calyx-segms. ovate, acute; filaments white-woolly. S. Italy.
